Abstract

Oregon is implementing long-term education reform, keeping in mind the complex new world and the expanding global market. Technology is changing at a fast pace and it is affecting peoples' lifes as never before. Students need adequate training and understanding of the work environment to cope with emerging trends. Oregon aims to provide the necessary help to these students by appropriately revamping curricula with the cooperation of educators, teachers, parents and community members. The implementation and methods of the program are discussed.
