Microhydration of N[O.sub.3.sup.-]: a theoretical study on structure, stability and IR spectra

Abstract: The article presents a complete description of the structure, stability and the IR spectra of the nitrate anion hydrate clusters, which are formed as a product of microhydration of N[O.sub.3.sup.-]. The surface structures of such complexes are shown to be more stable than the interior structures.
