A mill trial of Kemira's silicate-free bleaching concept called Fennobrite shows that the better dewatering produced by the product equated to less energy needed in the wash presses. 2-3 hours were saved to reach the final product brightness when switching from a 70 percent ISO brightness grade to 77-78 percent ISO grade. Cleaner pipelines and no agglomeration of silicate deposit were found.
