LightFlood: minimizing redundant messages and maximizing the scope of peer-to-peer search

LightFlood is a novel flooding scheme for minimizing the number of redundant messages and for retaining a similar message-propagating scope. Findings reveal the effectiveness of LightFlood scheme in reducing up to 69 percent of the flooding messages and in retaining the same flooding scope.
