Abstract
- The rigid rodlike and ionogenic polymers poly(p-pyridylene-phenylene) (PPPyP) and poly(p-pyridylene/phenylene-ethynylene) (PPPyPE) are examined in chloroform. Electric birefringence and light scattering are used for studying the dependence of the aggregation behavior of the polyelectrolytes on the degree of protonation and the concentration of different monovalent salts.
