Abstract
- The impact of the Germany monetary union on the stability of the narrow money demand and aggregate demand for money is studied. Two large European currency areas were involved in the study of aggregate demand for money. Empirical analysis shows that there is a close relationship between real money, output and the interest rate. Narrow money remains as a possible indicator in the European Monetary Union.
