Abstract
- Pulsed field gradient nuclear magnetic resonance self-diffusion measurement can suitably be used to calculate the aggregation state of protein systems and the self-diffusion coefficient (D(sub s)). The area of gradient pulse and the time of diffusion mediates the measurement of D(sub S). Water suppression is necessary to reach maximum dynamic range to measure protein signal attenuation. Two water-sLED techniques are discussed.
