Abstract
- The US House of Representatives passed HR 5351, a bill that would redirect $18 billion in tax breaks from major oil companies to alternative and renewable energy programs and energy conservation and efficiency initiatives. Opponents of the bill, however, argue that the bill would actually harm renewable energy programs.
