Abstract

The new trends observed in the global warming legislation and the challenges and conflicts faced by the congress to introduce the bills related to climate change and global warming issues are reported. The article gives a special emphasis to the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act which will be the subject of intense debate in 2008.
