The civic attitudes of ethnic minority youth and the impact of citizenship education

The civic attitudes of migrant and native youth in five West European countries are compared and the effect of citizenship education on the civic orientations of migrant children is explored. It is concluded that differences between various groups in the acceptance of civic values are a reflection of social differences.
