Supplemental feeding of northern bobwhite affects red-tailed hawk spatial distribution

Abstract

A study was conducted to determine the relevance of the presence of predators, red-tailed hawks in close proximity to supplemental feeding areas of northern bobwhite (quail). Results showed that management of supplemental feeding had an unexpected influence on the main predator of quail as they were found close to feeding sites.
