Abstract
- German liquer producer Underberg AG installed Ostma Machinenbau GmbH's Ringtray system to improve its packaging and labelling operations. The system allows the company to pack 20 ml beer bottles into ten basic pack sizes to meet varying consumer needs. The machine wraps kraft paper in top and botto bands around the carton and sealed with a hot melt adhesive. Two envelope-type flaps are made from the large band from the base of the pack and sealed to ensure a tight package.
