Abstract: The electronic spectroscopy and photodissociation dynamics of the 1-hydroxyethyl, C[H.sub.3]CHOH radical in the region of 515-270 nm is described. The isotopologs of 1-hydroxyethyl leads to two major product channels of acetaldehyde and the vinyl alcohol (enol).
