Abstract: A study to examine the efficacy of paclitaxel on restenosis after angioplasty of the leg is conducted. Results indicate that paclitaxel-coated angioplasty balloons showed significant reductions in target-lesion revascularization as compared to paclitaxel-containing contrast medium.
