Abstract: John Bunny was one of America's pioneers in comic films. His partnership with Flora Finch was the initiation of the country's first comic couple. Bunny's merits were facial and bodily movements. 'Bunny in Funnyland' was one of the actor's masterpieces. Bunny's experience with classic works by Shakespeare and Dickens brought credibility to his cinematic acting style.
