Abstract

Calculation of flow over a cavity shows that cavity flow undergoes oscillations thereby causing sound. These oscillations are regular at a low-Reynolds number and occur at Stouhal number 0.58. First the time-dependent incompressible flow is done, followed by the difference between the incompressible flow and compressible flow.
