Abstract
- The relationship of firms and increasing consumer density is assessed using a framework of spatial equilibrium analysis. With the first- and second-round entry of firms, symmetric equilibrium is realized given an increase in consumer density. However, equilibrium becomes unequal during the third and fourth rounds. The observation showed that mill prices and market area sizes tend to change in spatial equilibrium.
