The impact of provider availability and legal restrictions on the demand for abortions by young women

Abstract

A study is conducted to determine whether provider availability and legal restrictions affect the abortion decision of young women. Results suggest that the legal restrictions have no significant impact on abortion decision of young women, but the number of per capita abortion providers affect their decision to abort a fetus.
