Abstract
- A uniform diamond nanocone array is formed by using selective ion sputtering process and their chemical gases sensing properties are studied. The studies have shown that the enhanced gases sensing performances are achieved from the hydrogenated diamond nanocone array due to the carriers tunneling from discrete hole states in the diamond nanocone and the increased surface-to-volume ratio of the conical structure.
