Emerson shares get a power surge

Shares of Emerson Electric Co. reached a 52-week high of $56.70 on 14 Nov 2007 on the back of record sales performance, cash flow, dividend increase, and a bullish 2008 earnings outlook. Emerson reported fiscal 2007 net earnings of $2.1 billion on $22.6 billion sales. It also raised its quarterly dividend by 14% to 30 cents a share.
