Abstract

The vibronic structure and normal-mode frequencies of the ground and excited Rydberg states of diazomethane and its isotopologs and of the corresponding cations are examined. Many differences are observed in the behavior of the in-plane and out-of-plane modes within the CNN framework and the C[H.sub.2] moiety.
