Simple copper salt-catalyzed N-arylation of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with aryl and heteroaryl halides

The development of relatively mild and highly CuI-catalyzed N-arylation procedures for nitrogen-containing heterocycles with aryl and heteroaryl halides is reported. The method could be used for wide variety of functional groups, like ester, nitrile, nitro, ketone, free hydroxyl, free primary amine, and aryl halide which could find application among synthetic and medicinal chemists industry and academics.
