Abstract

The National Science Foundation's Course and Curriculum Development Program announced twelve chemistry programs receiving awards in 1995. Many of these chemistry programs involved the integration of computer technology into the classroom such as Internet access, computer simulations and CD-ROM graphics supplements. Other areas included cooperative organic chemistry laboratories, integrating curricula for first and second year courses and chemistry laboratory modules based on bidisciplinary themes. An abstract of each program and the university provider is included.
