Abstract
- A project was conducted on no-tillage practices and their effect on water quality passing through the root zone of deep, well-drained fields. The project has for its goal the determination of herbicide leaching characteristics. Four adjoining fields, with two under tilled management and the other two under no-tillage, received herbicide formulations under the project. Results suggest that no-tillage management on deep well-drained soils has a positive effect on groundwater quality.
