Abstract
- Some claims resulting from extended warranties provided by Triad Warranty Co, which has gone out of business, are being honored. Insurance consultant Stephen Barry, representing Energy Mutual, said that he expects to pay off over 1,000 claims by yearend 1995. The deceased Harold Scott, Triad's founder, had retained Energy Mutual, which has since become Wasatch Mutual Insurance Co, and Old Republic Minnehoma to insure its warranties.<br />DALLAS -- Some hvac contractors and wholesalers can stop holding their breath.
