Abstract
- Spectroscopic studies enable the characterization of primary unsaturated stibines ethenylstibine and ethynylstibine, resulting from a reaction between antimony trichloride and the respective vinyl- and alkynyltributylstannates. The synthesis proceeds through the formation of dichlorostibines, which on chemoselective reduction result in the desired products. Addition of solvents results in an oligomer due to the unstability of these stibines, which do not contain C-Sb multiple bonds.
