Operating performance of the flux-lock and the transformer type superconducting fault current limiter using the YBCO thin films

The operating performance of the flux-lock and the transformer type superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) is examined. Findings reveal higher initial limiting current of the flux-lock type than that of the transformer type, which increased along with the growth of the inductance of the secondary coil at two type SFCLs.
