How members use their debit and cash cards

The periodical Credit Union Executive studied the credit card usage habits of credit union members by interviewing some 300 members selected nationwide from Dec. 1994 to Jan. 1995. Among the major findings were that members used credit cards 2.3 times a month, 60% have ATM cards and that 22% of respondents used their ATM 10 times a month. The average withdrawal of members was $65, $10 more than average consumers. Data on members' use of debit and cash cards were also presented.
