Abstract

The feasibility study of Cu stabilized [Nb.sub.3]Al Rutherford cable for application to high field accelerator is discussed. Results suggest that the [Nb.sub.3]Al Rutherford cable possesses stronger strain-stress characteristics and is useful for application in case of compressive force beyond 150 MPa.
