Abstract
- Dirigisme, which is a group of economic development standards, contradicts democracy by discouraging experimentalism in individuals. Economic development can be achieved through a better strategy, a learning approach that focuses on the importance of supply and demand. How democracy, learning, and experimentalism promote economic growth better than dirigisme is discussed.
