Civil helicopters finally take off

The civil helicopter market has grown over the past three years, with 545 deliveries worth over $2.1 billion in 2006. Demand for additional helicopters for exploration in more distant oil fields, public sector demand, and corporate demand are the reasons for the growth in the industry.
