Abstract
- A Monte Carlo simulation method is of utility in mitigating errors pertaining to the areal interpolation of region-to-region transfer of information on aspects including socioeconomic and population statistics. Despite the method's versatility as indicated in its usage of single sets of source zones for various target zone sets, the method is incompetent for real-world error assessments.
