Show owner Skinner pushing for rider law

Skinners' Amusements' member Pat Skinner has drafted and submitted copies of letters to Illinois politicians in an effort to gain their support for a rider's responsibility law. Current laws only ensure amusement rides are safe and do not address the actions of the riders. Skinner cites in his letters statistics from the Consumer Product Safety Commission showing that 75% to 80% of amusement ride injuries are rider-related.
