Archiving issues and options

There were a number of issues related to newspaper publishers' archiving of information that were discussed at the National Press Photographers Association's Digital '95 conference and trade show. Platform providers, for example, are concentrating their efforts on delivering customized systems that publishers can easily integrate into workflow. Other issues include text and image retrieval efficiency, when to scan photographic materials and newspaper's building their own archiving systems.
