Abstract
- The origin and development of the Kalak Nappe Complex in northern Norway is discussed. It is indicated that the Kalak Nappe complex developed outside of Baltica, probably in the pre-Gondwanan realm or the southern lapetus and was then translated towards and accreted to Baltica during Scandian collisional phase.
