Abstract
- The Canadian Industrial Transportation League urged the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Way Employees and the Canadian Auto Workers to strive to forge new labor contracts with CP Rail System to end a long-standing strike. The organization, which represents over 400 companies, noted that the railroad strike has adversely affected the transport of valuable cargo. However, the parties concerned with the strike have not shown any intention to resume talks after the last negotiations fell through on Mar. 5, 1995.
