Abstract

A target-selected knockout approach, based on the random chemical mutagenesis is employed to study the efficient targeted-selected mutagenesis in Caenorhabditis elegans (C.elegans). The use of a nonsense introducing mutations (NIMs) genotyping approach for high-density microarrays is found to be extremely helpful for the genome-wide identification of C.elegans knockout.
