Abstract

Zero-field electron paramagnetic resonance (ZF EPR) spectral changes of the photoexcited triplet state of pentacene molecules in p-terphenyl crystals is studied at a temperature of 193 K [T.sub.c]. It is observed that pentacene triplet ZF EPR free induction decay (FID) spectra disappear abruptly at [T.sub.c] and there is a spectral broadening and shift below [T.sub.c].
