Fred Meyer bets the warehouse on QR

Fred Meyer is committed to the Quick Response inventory system with its lack of storage space in its new distribution center. The new distribution center replaces the three distribution centers it managed previously. Sales for the firm reached $3.13 billion in 1994. Cross-docking has been utilized in hard goods, cosmetics and groceries in order to prove that Quick Response is valid for all types of businesses.
