Abstract

The profiles of two plant homeodomain proteins (PHD) denoted as HAT3.1 and HOX1A fingers were listed. The two PHD fingers are denoted by the human X gene XE169 and the mouse homologues Smcx and Smcy. The PHD finger is important in studying the interaction of Polycomb (Pc-G) and trithorax group genes (trx-G) in presenting expression conformations for homeotic genes. It was suggested that Pc-G and trx-G maintain their consequences through or with chromatin.
