Dead Sea scrolls: A short history

Abstract

Several Dead Sea Scrolls have been obtained from different caves and places till date and are mostly housed and stored in a special museum in Jerusalem called, The Shrine of the Book. The scrolls have largely affected the scholarships in certain areas that include the origins of early Christian thought, the development of the Hebrew Bible and the history of Judaism and its various religious beliefs.
