Abstract

Modern archaeologists claim that Biblical archaeology is a provincial, narrow field, which is based on the Judeo-Christian-centered viewpoints. The new Institute of Biblical Archaeology employs various traditional, as well as modern tools and methods for its research work that suggests that the synthesis of these various perspectives can only lead to the true understanding of the Bible.
