Abstract: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the U.S. President George W. Bush are not expected to work together comfortably as there is a confrontationist attitude between them. Although Pelosi is confidently holding Bush accountable on various issues, she would be well-advised not to challenge his prerogatives as she needs his cooperation for legislative accomplishments in Congress.
