Abstract
- The synthesis and characterization of a new carboxylato-bridged [Co.sup.II]thiophenedicarboxylic acid (TDC) compound is presented. The title compound has shown an unprecedented asymmetric tetradentate coordination mode of the carboxylate functions and the magnetic measurements have shown weak ferromagnetic interactions between the Co ions within the dimers.
