Abstract: A general method is described for the synthesis and purification of hydrophilic ionic liquids, choline saccharinate and choline acesulfamate. The analysis has shown that choline saccharinate and choline acesulfamate are ionic liquids with a low toxicity, as these ionic liquids are composed of animal feed additives and of additives for human nutrition.
