Abstract: Reaction free energetics and dynamics of unimolecular electron-transfer processes in ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate are investigated using a model diatomic solute. It is found that the overall characteristics of electron transfer free energetics are similar between two solvents.
