Abstract
- Various factors related to the power output from aerobic and nonaerobic metabolic sources are measured to examine the effects of extrinsic motivation on time trial performance of the cyclists, which makes them more aggressive. The results of the study prove that the great early power output due to the anaerobic metabolic sources and not the extrinsic motivation is the true reason behind the change in the time trial performance of the cyclists.
