Abstract
- A study describes the importance of cytoplasmic processing bodies (PBs) in regulating the decay of mRNA (micro-ribonucleic acid) which consists of an adenine/uridine-rich element (ARE). It was found that ARE promotes the translational silencing and polysome disassembly of the mRNAs.
