Abstract
- The thermal decomposition reactions and products of glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) at low pressure are investigated by using tunable synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) photoionization and molecular-beam sampling mass spectrometry. It is observed that thermal decomposition of GAP began at a lower temperature that is 70 degree C compared to 170 degree C in the air.
