Abstract
- Intramuscular administration of newly constructed replication-defective adenovirus having human erythropoietin (hEpo) cDNA promotes the steady transfer of the physiologic hEpo levels to the systemic circulation. This adenovirus restricts itself to the administration site and does not cause any systemic infection or localized inflammation. Human serum protein deficiencies can be treated by these adenovirus vectors.
